Obituary of Jamie Lawrence Tarasoff

Passed away suddenly at his residence in Crystal Beach, Ontario, on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at the age of 54. Jamie will be forever loved and remembered by his children: Tyler Showers (Nicole Johnson), Latiesha Showers, and Brady Showers, also by his person, best friend and soulmate, Theressa Showers. Proud grandfather of Derrick, Tara-Lynn and Dawson. Dear brother of Kalvin (Rose) Tarasoff and Darrel Tarasoff. He is survived by his father-in-law Donald Showers and mother-in-law Betty Showers. Uncle Jamie will be remembered by his nephews: Joshua (Kelly) Showers, Taylor Showers, Ryan (Brianna) Holden, Riley Holden, William Tarasoff, his niece Megan Otto, and great niece and nephew, Abigail and Aiden Holden. Jamie will be missed by his sisters-in-law Tracy Showers, and Michelle (Mike Otto) Showers, and by his friend Kevin Holden, and best friend Scott Bulpitt.

Predeceased by his parents Larry and Gayle (nee Wilson) Tarasoff, grandparents Morris and Elsie Wilson, and great-nephew Tristain Holden. Jamie will be deeply missed by many friends and family.

In accordance with Jamie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). After the Covid-19 pandemic, and when restrictions are lifted, a Celebration of Jamie’s life will take place in two different locations; one in Kitchener, Ontario, and the other will be held in Crystal Beach, Ontario. Dates and details will be announced at a later time.
