Born on June 25, 1939.Jim was predeceased by his cherished wife, Valerie, but later found happiness and companionship in his marriage to Michelle, who survives him. He was a devoted father to his daughters, Leahanne Kvasni (Mitch) and Lynn Dempsey (Wayne), whose love and gratitude for him knew no bounds. Jim was a man of many passions. He was an avid golfer, often seen on the fairways, where his competitive spirit and love for the game shone brightly. He also loved bowling, and spent countless hours with friends and family, celebrating victories and the camaraderie that came with each game. Another of his great joys was the thrill of off-track betting, where he would eagerly place his bets, adding excitement to his love for the horses.
However, what truly defined Jim was his deep love for family. He was the heart and soul of every family gathering. Whether it was family holidays, or simply spending time with his grandchildren, Jim cherished each moment. His wisdom, kindness, sense of humor and laughter will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
