Obituary of Heather Jenneke Barnhart
Heather Jenneke Barnhart, born on November 28, 1981, in Niagara Falls, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on February 2, 2024.Heather is predeceased by her grandparents, Alex and Pat Thomson, Paul and Flora Barnhart, Auntie A (Aileen), and Uncle Rick. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever be cherished.
Heather is survived by her cherished boys, Andrew and River Svensson, who were the loves of her life. She is the beloved daughter of Ron (Christine) Barnhart and Lindsay Thomson, and a devoted sister to Laura. Heather was a proud aunt to Olivia, Hannah, and Sarah, and a niece to Louise (Tom), their children Owen and Calen (Heather's cousins), Corinne (Roger), Karen (Ed), Paulette, Mark (Brenda). She also leaves behind cousins Leigh, Vincent, Michael, and Derek. Heather will be dearly missed by her beloved godmother Lorna Mackay.
Heather was a devoted mother, and her boys meant everything to her. She took immense pride in their achievements, especially celebrating Andrew's early acceptance to university, which she considered a significant accomplishment. Heather had a beautiful talent for playing the piano, moving her parents to tears with her skill. She was known for her love of Deadpool and thoroughly enjoyed attending Comicon. Special memories include watching the Niagara Falls Flyers, the Junior A hockey team, with Auntie A.
A celebration of Heather's life will be held at a later date to honor the beautiful person she was. In lieu of flowers, Heather's GoFundMe Page has been set up for Andrew and River's future. In keeping with Heather’s wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements have been entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services.
May Heather's soul rest in peace, and may her family find comfort in the cherished memories they shared with her.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Heather’’s passing. She touched my life in ways I have never forgotten, bringing kindness and light wherever she went. I will always remember her as a beautiful soul, filled with laughter, warmth, and resilience. Although time and distance separated us, her memory remains dear to my heart. My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. May her spirit continue to bring peace and comfort to those who loved her.
Heather was a wonderful person and her time on earth was far too short. I will always have fond memories of her and she will forever have a place in my heart. I am sure she will forever have a place in many people’s hearts. She is missed. She is remembered.

So young, vibrant and beautiful she had a lust for life, always optimistic even when the odds were stacked against her. Always wanting the best for are kids and she did an absolutely fantastic job. Unmatched in parenting. She loves them deeply. We talked every day for the past 6 months, never missed a day and she was always saying something new about our boys and how much she loved them and very proud she was and the importance of their accomplishments.
