Obituary of Harold E. Jacobi
Peacefully at Niagara Long Term Care, Harold passed away in his 89th year. Harold was the beloved father of Joanne Terryberry (Joe), Brian, Wayne, Carol, and Leslie. He is also survived by companion, Doreen and brother, Larry of Victoria, B.C. Harold was predeceased by his parents, Alexandra and Elmer and sisters, Audrey Kinley and Elmira Nicholls as well as his son Kevin.Harold was a much loved Grandpa to 11 and Great Grandpa to 12 as well as an uncle to many nieces and nephews. His presence and sense of humor will be sorely missed.
Dad spent his career as a mechanic and auto body specialist. In the late 60's and early 70's, he also worked part time Auxiliary with the OPP which he loved. In retirement, you could find him busy at his hobby of woodworking as can be attested to by the many pieces of work he gifted to us.
The family would like to extend our gratitude to Doreen and also the staff of Niagara LTC for their care of our father and grandfather.
As per our Harold's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905 354 2133). A Celebration of Life and interment will take place at a later date. Online condolences may be shared on Harold's tribute page found at EssentialsNiagara.com. If desired, donations in Harold's memory may be made to any Humane Society.
