Obituary of Gus Theriault
From his humble beginnings in Nova Scotia to his adult years in Ontario, Gus was a man that seemed to have lived many lives within his 79 years. His story came to an end suddenly on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby.Gus loved deeply and was blessed with a large family to share his heart with. The greatest joys of his life were his son David (Lesek), twin daughters Amber-Lee (Sasha) and Victoria (Troy) and his four grandchildren, Jarah, Lily, Forrest and Adeline. His memory lives on within his six siblings, Conrad (Larysa), Dianna (late Peter), Pauline (Martin), Claudette (Conny), Laura (late Delos) and Gisele and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Stonehouse-Whitcomb Funeral Home 11 Mountain Street, Grimsby on Friday, May 8, from 5pm until 8pm.
Gus’ remains will be joined with his late wife Sylvia. They will reside in the family garden. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests for gift certificates to be purchased to a local nursery to help the garden flourish in their memory.
