Obituary of Gordon (Jeff) Marsh
Passed away suddenly on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the NHS-Niagara Falls Site at the age of 58. . He has been reunited with his parents James and Ruth Ann Thomson (née Underhill) and his brother Bill Marsh.Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Susan Marsh (née Harrison), his sister Dolly Lambourne, brother-in-law John Harrison (Maria), mother-in-law Barbara Balcombe and his nieces and nephews.
Jeff was a dedicated supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs and his passion for the team was a source of joy in his life. Known for his great sense of humor, he could effortlessly bring laughter to any gathering. Jeff had a kind and gentle heart and he touched the lives of those around him with his warmth and generosity.
Despite being a man of few words, Jeff's quiet nature spoke volumes about his character. He maintained a small circle of friends, valuing deep and meaningful connections. One of the greatest testaments to his character was the unwavering care and devotion he showed to his wife, Susan, during her time of need. Professionally, he worked as a landscaper for Niagara Hotels, where his love for nature and gardening flourished. Even during his downtime, he found solace in tending to his own garden, a reflection of his nurturing and calming spirit.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services in Niagara Falls. A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at a later date.
