Version 2
In Loving Memory of

Gordon Clark

Obituary of Gordon Clark

Passed away peacefully on February 2, 2022 at Linhaven Home, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Irene Clark. Loving father of Beverlee (Rob) McVeigh and Debra (Steve) Thomson. Dear grandfather of Brian (Shannon), Cheryl (Eric) and David. Great-grandfather to Kira. Gordon was born in Westmount, Quebec where he had many adventures as a young boy. Following WWII, during which he joined the Armed Forces, he followed in his family’s footsteps in the jewellery trade in Montreal until moving his family to Ontario in 1967 when he obtained a position with a notable diamond firm in Toronto. He enjoyed a successful career for many years before retiring to spend more time golfing and travelling. It’s with much happiness that we reflect on the years of leisure he was able to enjoy before it was necessary for him to live out the rest of his time at Linhaven. A special thank you to the staff there for their support and care of Gordon for these past several years. In accordance with Gordon’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held when conditions allow. "We’ll remember the happy times with you, Dad, and we know you’re at peace now."
