Obituary of Gloria Anne MacInnes
With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Gloria Anne MacInnes in the early hours of Friday, September 2, 2022 at Bella Senior Care in Niagara Falls at the age of 86. Left to mourn her loss are her daughter Marjorie Niven (Kenneth) and her sons Robert MacInnes (Jane) and Raymond, her grandchildren Dan(Andrea), Alicia, Jennifer (Justin) and Julie (Jon), her great grandchildren Gionni, Brianna, Luca, Aria, Ireland and Lucas, her sisters Carol Braiden (preceded in death Daniel) and Elaine Weatherbee (Royce). Gloria was greeted on the other side by her husband Bruce and her parents Raymond and Roberta Cole.Gloria worked for many years at Sears in the cosmetics department. She was loved and had quite the social life with her co-workers. Every year she would hand knit dish cloths to give out to them. She loved to knit. Everything from dishcloths to full afghans. Gloria was also an amazing poet, she just had a way with words and the nurses recall her rhyming her words right up until her final days. When she wasn't knitting you could find her doing crossword puzzles as it would keep her mind sharp.
Glorias greatest love was her family. As long as they were all near, she couldn't be happier. She will be terribly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A very special thank you to the staff on Vineyards at Bella.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905) 354-2133. If desired, donations in Gloria's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada and would be appreciated by her family.

On behalf of John, Cathy and our entire family we wish to offer you, Bob, Jane and your entire family our deepest condolences on the loss of your beautiful Mom, Mother-in-Law and loving Grandma and Great Grandma.
Aunt Gloria will forever hold a special place in the hearts of the Weatherbees. We longed for the trips to Niagara Falls to spend the weekend at the biggest backyard in the world! Uncle Bruce had the best Man Cave, before Man Caves were even a thing. These memories will live on forever.
To Marjorie, Ken, Daniel and Alicia, and my cousins Robert and Raymond, please accept our sincere condolences and may you find peace in knowing that Aunt Gloria was loved by everyone she encountered.
With deepest sympathies,
Brian Weatherbee and family

So sorry to hear of Gloria’s passing – death creates sorrow no one can heal – love creates memories no one can steal.
Gloria was a very sincere, kind and loving woman, and family always came first for her. We have many of her knitted dish clothes and enjoyed receiving them over the years. Our thoughts are with Gloria and her family.
A dear sweet lady with a kindly demeanor. I can hear her voice. Her cursive writing…. every page a piece of art. Rest in peace
