Obituary of Glen Harold Miller
Glen Harold Miller, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025, at the age of 81.Born on May 19, 1944, Glen was one of seven siblings and grew up shaped by strong family ties, hard work, and resilience. These values stayed with him throughout his life and were reflected in the way he loved, worked, and lived, always with quiet determination and on his own terms.
Glen dedicated 32 years of service to Hayes Dana, where he was known as a reliable and hardworking employee. He took great pride in being an excellent provider for his family, a role he embraced fully and faithfully. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife of 43 years, Marion, his constant companion and greatest support. Together, they shared a deep bond and a lifetime of memories, including Glen’s greatest passion, riding his motorcycle coast to coast, exploring the open road side by side.
He was a proud father to Julie (Joe), Glen (Alicia) and Jean (Ryan), and he loved his family in a steady, dependable way; showing up, providing, and caring deeply, even if quietly.
Glen was an avid dart player with Legion 51, where camaraderie and friendly competition brought him great enjoyment. He also gave back to his community through volunteering and was never far from one of life’s simple pleasures: a good cup of Tim Hortons coffee.
Later in life, Glen made Millennium Trail Manor his home. True to who he had always been, Glen was known for doing things his own way. He valued his independence, preferred a quiet routine, and found comfort in simplicity. He enjoyed stepping outdoors whenever he could for fresh air and spending time in his room watching his favourite sports.
Glen will be remembered as a man who lived authentically, loved deeply, and walked his own path with quiet confidence. He will be dearly missed by his wife Marion, his children, his extended family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
May he rest peacefully, forever riding open roads and watching the game from the best seat in the house.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and the family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.

Our deepest condolences. Glen was a good man. Back in our minor hockey days we always respected his countless volunteer hours, his unwavering support and always enjoyed his dry sense of humour. Rest in peace my friend.
