I first met Glen at my wedding to his brother Jim. It was apparent then that he was a gifted speaker and loving brother. When Jim and I moved to the Falls we coined the phrase “the beer fairy” as his frequent trips with Gert across the river usually ended with putting a case of beer at our patio. Glen always saw a silver lining in everything and his charm and smile made everyone in his presence feel special. I never witnessed him have a bad day because he was always positive. He was a great storyteller with a premium Dad joke woven in for your enjoyment. Our family game nights taught his autistic nephews the joy of a good or sneaky move, filled with laughter, forgetting their often sore loser attitudes. Glen brought out the best in people. Thoughts and prayers to family and friends as they celebrate the life of this extraordinary man.
Teena, Nancy, Karen and families,
We are so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a very special person. He was such a loving and patient father, husband, brother, brother-in-law and friend. We will miss him dearly. Our time spent with your dad and mom are some of our fondest memories.
Love,
Uncle Ben and Aunt Sue
