Obituary of Gisele Rougoor
Gisele passed away peacefully in her home on January 2, 2026. She was in her 74th year. Beloved widow of the late Bryan Mitchell. Gisele will be remembered as a loving aunt to Sabrina and Felicia Joseph, dear sister-in-law to Vicky Joseph and step-sister to Judy and her family. Gisele will be missed by many family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Lionel and Marguerite, brother John and her son Gerald Lee. Thank you so much to Roxanne Stefanac and Doug Jones for their friendship, all their help and being there for Gisele through the years. In accordance with Gisele's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Scapular Church, 6557 Thorold Stone Road, Niagara Falls, on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11am. An interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 4501 Stanley Avenue, Niagara Falls, where Gisele will be laid to rest with her parents. Arrangements have been entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.Service Information

So sorry to here of Gisele passing, my sincere Condolences to her family and friends. I grew up in Niagara Fall, so long ago and Gisele lived down the street…I remember her fondly, I was a kid and she was living the life of a young adult and I really admired that about her. She was always kind and smiled. Wow, how memories just pop in your head and I only know one person by that name, that’s how i knew it was her. Prayers said that she sleeps in Peace.🙏🕊🌿
