Obituary of Gertrude Kemeter
Gertrude Kemeter has passed away on Saturday August 24th 2024, at the age of 91. Loving mother of Ramona Schwanz (Wolfgang), Marion Mallaley (Kevin), Susan Kemeter & the late Alex Kemeter. Cherished by her grandchildren Micheal, Christine, Katharina, Sarah, Justin, Jeffery, Kaitlyn & Krystalysa. Missed by her great grandchildren Judd, Jace, Jarrett, Illithyia, Jasper, Ares, Lilith, Lena, Ellie, Nele and Harlow. Predeceased by Kurt Kemeter.Gertude was known to her family as “Oma”. Oma was born and raised in the German Black Forest, she then moved to Canada in 1953. Oma loved to knit, crochet and bake for her family. Oma worked at GNGH for 28 years and loved her jobs. Oma always cherished time with her family. Special thanks to nurse Lucas at GNGH emergency for taking excellent care of Oma.
In accordance with Gertrude’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. If desired, donations may be made to Project Share in Niagara Falls.
