Obituary of Gerald "Jerry" Bruce Lamb

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of Jerry Lamb on January 4, 2024, at the age of 86. Beloved spouse for the last 25 years to Anne McAllister. Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his children, James (Connie), David (Monica), Cyndy (Jentry); as well as by Anne's children, Rick (Elsa), Christine (Terry) and Mike (Josh). Cherished grandfather to many grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Much loved brother to Peggy Muschett. Jerry will also be dearly missed by his longtime friends Brian and Syliva, and Bob and Donna. Predeceased by his siblings Walter Lamb, Ronnie Lamb and Francis Worwood.

Jerry was a dedicated employee of 37 years with Ontario Hydro. He was known for his quick wit, dry sense of humour, along with his gentle and loving demeanour. He found solace in the simple joys of life. Jerry was an avid reader, a devoted Toronto Blue Jays fan, and loved to play cribbage. His love for nature was evident through his 13-year memberships with the Fort Erie Conservation Club and the Bert Miller Nature Club. Whether exploring the great outdoors or simply enjoying a leisurely walk, Jerry always found beauty in the world around him.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Seasons staff for their support and care over the last 5 years, as well as the 6th floor nurses at the Welland Hospital for their compassion.

In keeping with Jerry's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Fort Erie Conservation Club or the Bert Miller Nature Club.
