Obituary of Gary Collucci

Gary passed away peacefully on November 14, 2023, at the age of 77. Gary was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Ernestine Collucci, and his brother John. He will be dearly missed by his cousins Bob, Jack and Kathy Ballantyne, and Barbara Hamilton and by his nephew Chris Collucci. Gary will always be remembered by his longtime friends Lorretta Levesque, Stewart MacIntosh and John Young.

Gary's passion for photography was a defining aspect of his life. In his younger years he honed his skills at Eastman Kodak, where he worked for a number of years. A man of diverse interests, Gary was an avid reader and a fan of racing being it cars or horses, from the circuits of NASCAR and the precision of Formula 1 to the thrill of the Triple Crown. In his last years he enjoyed watching golf and football, and was known never to choose a winner too soon. He was also known to love the warmer weather and was the the king of corny jokes.

Despite his quiet demeanor, Gary was a quirky soul with a heart full of warmth. He disliked controversy and his kindness touched the lives of those around him. Gary spent a few years living in Mexico and went on a few adventures exploring the USA and Europe.

In accordance with his wishes, Gary will be cremated and laid to rest with his grandmother Ethel Foltas at McAffee Cemetery in Fort Erie.
