Obituary of Gary Stampe

It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of Gary Stampe at his residence on May 29, 2021.  Dear brother of Debbie (Mike Baker).  He will be missed by his nieces and nephews; Krystal Cameron, Kayla Horne (Ben Horne), Dylon Baker, Haley Baker, Tessa Stuckey, Jason (Angela), Jasper (Patricia), and Morgan (Lacey) Pardy. Great Nieces and Nephews; Zoe and Isobel Horne (Kayla and Ben), Alaina Pardy (Jason and Angela), Jayce and Jerzie Pardy (Morgan and Lacey), TJ (Tony Jasper) and Gracie Pardy (Jasper and Patricia).

He is predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Rita Stampe, and his siblings Tony Pardy and Kimberly Lynn Stampe. Nephew Jasper Pardy.

Gary was born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and moved to Ontario, then Alberta, and finally settling in Welland, Ontario some years ago.  He worked at Cogeco Cable in the Customer Support Department. Gary was Friendly and kind. He lived a simple life. Over the last 20 years he had his health challenges but survived a quintuple bypass, and prostrate cancer. He enjoyed going out for dinner and drinks with close friends. Gary will be surely missed by his friends and family.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. In accordance with Gary’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Essentials Cremation and Burial Services 221 Division Street, Welland are entrusted with the arrangements.

I am in total shock. just found out that my dearest friend has passed. The last time we spoke, I promised you that I would come to visit you this summer. Soar with the Angels, my friend until we meet again♥️♥️♥️

My deepest condolences for the lost of your brother. I wish I was there to give you a big hug. Remember all the happy times you had with Gary. He will be missed a lot.
