Obituary of Frank Nemeth

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, Frank Nemeth, who peacefully departed this world on July 3, 2023. Frank was a pillar of strength and love, and his memory will forever be etched in our hearts. Frank was born on February 7, 1965, in St. Catharine's, Ontario. He was the cherished son of his late father, Frank, and his mother, Joan. Throughout his life, Frank held a deep admiration and respect for his parents, who provided him with a strong foundation of love, support, and guidance.

Frank's journey through life was filled with love, joy, and the immeasurable pride he felt as a father and grandfather. One of his proudest moments was witnessing his grandson Lincoln's very first steps. The sheer joy and excitement that lit up Frank's face as he saw his grandson take those wobbly, determined steps are memories that will forever be etched in our hearts. It was a testament to Frank's love and devotion to his family, and his unwavering presence during those precious milestones will be forever treasured. In addition to his role as a devoted father and grandfather, Frank was passionate about sports. He had a love for hockey and soccer from a young age and spent many hours on the ice and field, pursuing his passion for these sports. As a teenager and in his early twenties, Frank also enjoyed working on his beloved Chevelle, pouring his heart and soul into its restoration. These activities brought him great joy and allowed him to express his creativity and dedication. Frank's professional career as a CNC machinist showcased his commitment to precision and craftsmanship. He excelled in his field, using his skills and expertise to contribute to various industries and leave a lasting mark on the projects he undertook. Frank possessed a quiet demeanor that belied his impact on those around him. He had a way of inspiring others to be better, to reach for their goals, and to cherish the relationships that mattered most. His gentle nature and genuine kindness left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Frank was the type of person who made you want to become a better person, and his influence will continue to shape and guide us.

Frank is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Sarah, their children Frank Jr. and Ashley (Pat), and his adored grandchild, Lincoln. Frank was a beloved brother to his older sisters Helen and Kathy, as well as his younger brothers Tom and Roger. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. His love for his family knew no bounds. Frank's legacy will forever be carried on through the values and love he instilled in his family.

During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who have offered their condolences, support, and love. Your presence and kind words have brought comfort and solace as we navigate through our grief. Though Frank may no longer be physically present, his spirit will forever live on in the memories we shared, the love he showered upon us, and the lasting impact he made on our lives. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rest in eternal peace, dear Frank. May your soul find solace, and may your spirit continue to guide us as we honor your memory and carry your love in our hearts. In accordance with Frank's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Juravinski Cancer Center.

My family and I grew up next to the Nemeth Family on Marmora Street, and Frank and I were classmates. We attended St. Thomas, St Nicholas, and Denis Morris together. That being said, almost all of my childhood memories include Frank(ie) with his light-hearted smile and gentle kindness. He was a loyal friend to many throughout his younger years and we were fortunate to know him.
Please know that he is remembered with fondness.
With heartfelt sympathy, Ellen

I played minor hockey with Frank’s younger brother Tom and had the good fortune to be around the Nemeth family for years. Frank was always our hero, as he was the older cool guy that had it all. We all admired him when his Major Midget hockey team played in the Air Canada Cup and when Frank when on to play Jr B hockey for the St. Catharines Falcons. He was always a gentleman in every situation and a true role model. My deepest condolences to the family. Derrick Bishop.
