Obituary of Frank George Krsul
Frank Krsul passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the age of 85.He was born on September 30, 1939, to Frank and Paulina Krsul in Schumacher, Ontario. Having immigrated from Croatia, Frank’s mother did not enjoy the cold northern Ontario weather and was happy when the family purchased a farm in Merritton, Ontario, shorty after his birth. Frank attended school in Merritton and made many friends through sports and social activities throughout his life. In June, 1953 he married Carol Morey and they parented two children Tim and Pete.
During his career he held various positions with General Motors Canada in St. Catharines. In his retirement Frank enjoyed travel, carpentry, he was an avid reader of fiction, and he loved to dance. Frank had a passion for gardening and would go to great lengths to protect his plants from the hoards of squirrels that would descend upon them each year, sometimes causing untold upheaval to human and squirrel alike. In his spare time he was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family, sharing his skills and extensive knowledge in trades, like woodworking, so that others could find pride in their own work.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Mary, and brothers, Joe and George. He is survived by his wife, two sons, granddaughter Ciara, sister Katy, 3 Brothers-in-law: John, Lee and Bob, and 3 Sisters-in-law: Shirley, Barb and Marg, 3 Nieces: Sue, Jessica, Quinn, 3 nephews: David, Steve and John, as well as many Great Nieces and Nephews and friends.
To see his family happy and successful made him very proud. We will carry him in our hearts forever.
In keeping with Frank's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.

When I think of Frank, I remember his expressions of speech as he always ended his sentence or thought with a smirk, a smile, a laugh or a giggle. I especially remember the giggle. So sorry for your loss. He will be missed.
We are forever in his debt for the wonderful downstairs renovations he planned and helped with. He was meticulous about everything he did. We will miss his advice. You are irreplaceable!
We shared meals, vacations, celebrations, camping and many social outings.
The last few years were hard for all of us, we watched as the man who knew just about everything lose it slowly.
Our cherished memories will remain forever in our hearts. Thank you, Frank
The best grandpa I could have ever asked for. In my mind he is forever dancing with me to Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash in the living room. I will forever miss you Boppa ❤️
