Obituary of Frances Foster

FOSTER, Frances "Frannie"
It is with sadness that we say goodbye to our sister Frances, who passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019 at the William Osler Hospital in Etobicoke, at the age of 68. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, sister of Carol Ferrari, Susan (Dave) Durnan, Bob (Bonnie) Foster, Mike (Cathy) Foster and Tim (Michelle) Foster. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Frannie was recently predeceased by her sister Joanne, and has also been reunited with her parents, Margaret and Ernest, and brother-in-law, Domenic Ferrari. Frannie will be forever remembered by her best friends Bev and Donny Maracle, and also by her beloved four legged friend, Maggie. A special thank you to the nurses and doctors of Princess Margaret who provided years of care and support to our sister. In accordance with Frannie's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). Memorial donations may be given to the Canadian Cancer Society. I think most, if not all of our family have worked with Fran at some point. She was the epitome of courage and strength for years and always giving that smile and two words, “I”m fine” when we knew she wasn’t. I don’t believe she knew what “complain” meant. Thank you Bev and Barb …you are truly angels and to all those who shared their friendship and care as well. I’m sorry for those who grieve you Fran, but oh so happy for the Peace you have waited so long for. God Bless

How can this be? Frannie has been a constant in our lives since our days living on Douglas Street and thereafter running into her around town. Always grinning from ear to ear, and such a gentle caring soul.

Our family is so sad to hear of Frannie’s passing. Our sincerest condolences to the entire Foster clan. Love always.

My sincere Condolences to the entire family. Frannie was a very strong lady with a big smile. As her neighbor she always waved to me as she passed by my house. We often had talks through the years. May she rest in peace.
