Obituary of Evelyn Esther Stickl
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Evelyn on Friday, May 12, 2023, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 84. She will be forever loved by her daughters Linda McQueen (the late Ken) and Lori Stickl. Cherished Granny of Kendra McQueen (Mark Brouwer). She will be dearly remembered by her best friend Betty Kovacs, special cousin Ken Wilson (Sharon Morton), numerous friends of many years, also by members of her Sorority and card groups. Evelyn has been predeceased by her husband, George Stickl, by her daughter, Debbie Rapp, parents Alice Pew and Clarence Silverthorn and by her Aunt Violet.Evelyn will be fondly remembered for her enjoyment of the Christmas holiday, especially since that time of year brought out new Hallmark movies, which she thoroughly loved to watch. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. In accordance with Evelyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Evelyn’s Life on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 1-3pm at St. Andrew’s United Church, 5645 Morrison Street, Niagara Falls.
