Obituary of Emmett Alvear Bachorski

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Emmett Alvear Bachorski, who left this world peacefully at 20 weeks gestation on Sunday, September 29, 2024. He fought for just under 4 hours outside the womb, he was deeply loved and will be forever cherished. He was welcomed by his grandfather Ernest Bachorski (2024).

Emmett was the first born and deeply loved son to Tommy and Alona Bachorski who were joined in matrimony three days before he was born, cherished grandson (Lovebug) to Lisa Cortese (Dominic), Almario and Marilou Alvear, adored nephew to Stephen Bachorski (Kayla), Tricia Wickens (Adam), Almarie Alvear (Abdul Moon) and Aldrin Alvear (Julie Mai). His many cousins will share his story of strength throughout the years.

Throughout the pregnancy, Emmett brought joy to his parents, especially during moments filled with laughter and love. Alona often craved poutines, affectionately giving him the pet name "Baby Cheesecurd." He was a lively little spirit, particularly active during their visit to the car show, where his excitement was palpable.While Emmett’s time with us was brief, the love he inspired will endure forever.

Family and friends are welcome to gather and show their support on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 5-7pm, with a memorial service held at 6pm, at Essentials Cremation and Burial Services, 4300 Drummond Road, Niagara Falls. The family would like to thank the staff at McMaster Children's Hospital for their care and support.
