In Loving Memory of
Eileen Dianne Boulard

Obituary of Eileen Dianne Boulard
It is with profound sorrow that the family of Eileen Dianne Boulard (née Wilcox) announces her peaceful passing on February 20, 2026.Eileen has been reunited with her loving husband, Bert Boulard; her parents, Gord and Bessie Wilcox; and her siblings Lloyd, Ruth, Gladys, Mel, Clarence, Glen, and John.
She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her children Kelly (Tim) Gibson, Mike (Julie) Boulard, and Cindy (Dave) Giguere, and her siblings Sandra, Gloria, Wayne (Geraldine), and Gord (Linda). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Autumn, Kayla, Brittney, and Joshua, and a cherished great-grandmother to Carson, Charlie, Cadyn, Harrison, and Bentley. Her best friend and sister-in-law, Bev Wilcox, will remember her fondly, along with the many nieces and nephews Eileen adored and was so proud to call her own.
Although Eileen lived a simple life, family was always her greatest joy and highest priority. She enjoyed watching her favorite game shows, especially "Let's Make a Deal", and was a devoted fan of the long-running soap opera "The Young and the Restless". She was an enthusiastic member of her local cribbage league and found great pleasure in Elvis Presley and The Beach Boys.
Eileen will be forever remembered for her remarkable baking and sewing skills, and for being, quite simply, the best laundry folder around. She could fold any piece of laundry so perfectly it would never need ironing. She proudly ran the Wrong Way Chip Truck, where customers would travel from miles away for the chance to sit, chat, and share a laugh with Eileen. She was a trusted confidante who could keep a secret without hesitation and never had a taste for gossip.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at Hospice Niagara-Walker House Welland, and Dr. Khan, for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Eileen and her family. They treated everyone as though they were part of one big, caring family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family. A celebration of life will be held on Monday March 2nd from 2pm-4pm at the Welland Legion at 383 Morningstar Avenue in Welland.

Cindy I’m so sorry your mom passed away. I know how close she was to you and your family having lived together for so many years. I wish you comfort in the coming days with the knowledge that your mom experienced unconditional love through your actions and devotion. There must be no doubt your mom left this world knowing she was deeply loved by her Cindy. Dave and Britt. I’m sure Eileen’s full heart powered her journey to her everlasting love …and that she is talking his ear off telling him to loving stories about your Charlie and Carson who will carry
the family light and legacy forward. Condolences to your extended family as well.

Our thoughts are with you at this time
Dear dear Eileen we have been attached to each other for so long ..lol . I remember our days as silly teenage girls at Eastdale High School in Welland . We were sweet innocent and had a lot of fun during that time ! Our paths were destined to cross again when my long-time friend Bev became Mel’s wife! Boy did we make memories playing cribbage through the years Bev and Mel you and Bert and myself with all of our buddies from Saturday afternoon cribbage . I love you girl and I’m sorry I didn’t get the opportunity to visit you ..during this last while. You. and the girls from our breakfast club we were all an important part of each other’s life.. So now our four some is down to the three musketeers! Who will miss you 🥰
Hey all. On behalf of our corner of the Wilcox clan, Eileen will be missed. She always had the greatest laugh. ❤️ I can remember being at Aunt Bessie’s with mom and dad (Aunt Audrey and Uncle Eldie) as kids, everyone coming and going but I’ll always remember her laugh. We don’t get to see each other enough but family is always family no matter the distance. Troy (Brenda) and I send our love and our prayers to all of you. Love you all.
Krissy (Luis, Katarina and Keith)
My primary memories of Eileen are that she was very good-natured, even when we were being bratty kids, and the love she had for Bert and how happy she would be when he got back from a trip. She will be missed by so many.
We’re very sorry to hear of aunt Eileen. Our condolences to the family.
