Obituary of Edna Teresa Leskiw (Devlin)

On March 21, 2022, with family by her side, Edna passed peacefully on to Heaven. Predeceased by her husband Matt (1985) and by her beloved John (2013). Edna will be dearly missed by her four children, Dale (Geof), Sandra (Ed), Matt and Michael. Grandmother to five: Leslie Kern (Peter), Joshua Kern (Kathy), Laura Brennan (Phil), Lucas Leskiw (Linda), Stephanie Leskiw, and Nana to 6 great grandchildren: Maddy Kern Smith, Nikolas Leskiw, Erik Leskiw, Benjamin, Jacob and Charles Peters.

Edna was born April 22, 1928 in St John, NB, moving to Niagara Falls, Ontario in 1945, where she would raise her family and later work for many years for Wallace’s Dept. Store and then for the Niagara Parks Commission. She was deeply devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with her friends. We would like to thank the staff of Maple Park Lodge (Blue Jay) in Ft. Erie for their care and compassion.

Arrangements have been entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. For those who wish, a donation to Project Share (Niagara) or to Sick Children’s Hospital can be made in Edna’s name.
