Obituary of Douglas Wayne Rowe
Peacefully, on Sunday April 30, 2023 surrounded by the love and comfort of his family, Douglas Wayne Rowe passed away at Hospice Niagara. He has been reunited with his parents Jeffrey and Ruby, aunt Margaret, brother Jim, nephew Rob and father-in-law William "Bill". Doug was a devoted husband to Laura for 39 years, proud father to Megan, Kirsten (Wes) Short and Matthew, cherished grandpa to Jace Mazzon, Sienna Court, Kinsley and Greyson Short. Doug will be terribly missed by all of his family, his mother-in-law Joan Beeton, sister-in-law Barb and brother-in-law Don as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.Doug was a very simple man and enjoyed the simple things in life; working hard farming and salvaging metal scrap as a hobby. When he wasn't working he was spending time with his pride and joy, his grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. The family would like to send their sincere thanks to Hospice Niagara for their love and compassion during this difficult time. If desired, donations in memory of Doug may be made to Hospice Niagara and would be appreciated by his family.

I always imagine Doug as being eternal. He never aged. Always remember him puttering around the house. Deepest condolences.
