Dorothy was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Frank, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two sisters. Dorothy was known as an Upholsterer, Motorcyclist, Photographer, Author and World traveler. Interment to be announced.
Motorcycle Honor Guard will leave Dorothy’s home, 777 Wyldewood Rd, Sherkston, ON, L0S 1R0 on Saturday, September 30 at 12 p.m. and travel to Pleasantview Cemetery, 2250 Highway #20, Fonthill, ON, for the inurnment at 1 p.m.

Condolences to Dorothy’s family. When we lived in Wiarton on Georgian Bay Dorothy came into one of our stores with all of her friends. They were all on motorcyles. Dorothy came in and turned around and on the back of her white leather vest it said “Sherkston Maidens”….. I was so delighted to see someone from my hometown. She was such a delight to talk to and I always remembered her. Very sad to read about her passing. May your memories help sustain you at this difficult time.
