Obituary of Dorin Cristinel Tirlungeanu

In the late hours, just before a new day started we said goodbye to our beloved husband, father, brother and friend. Dorin Cristinel Tirlungeanu left us to start his new journey on Thursday, August 11, 2022. He is the devoted husband of Carmen Marian for 20 years, cherished father of David and Sara Tirlungeanu and loving brother of Lili Zamfiroiu. Dorin was welcomed to the great beyond by his parents Neculai and Maria.

Dorin was born in Romania and worked in sales with well known corporations. This is where he met and fell in love with Carmen. They moved to Ireland in 2015 before making the journey to Canada in 2018. When arriving in Canada he became a long haul truck driver.
He was known for his positive, never give up attitude! Always making people laugh anyway he knew how. He was a selfless man who was so full of life and love. He was an amazing provider for his wife and kids. It was devastating for him to be held up in a hospital bed not being able to support them, the way he always had. His family always came first and he would put himself on the back burner. They can recall him saying "If you're fine, I'm fine!" Dorin was a social butterfly. He loved to dance, host BBQ's and have a few drinks with friends and family. Carmen and Dorin would go on many adventures. They have traveled the world in such a short time making memories together. He will be truly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. (905-354-2133) A private service followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery will be held in his honor. Many thanks to the friends who have stood by his family through the last 15 months as Dorin struggled and fought through this ugly disease.
