Obituary of Donna Jean Divito

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Donna Divito (née Gent) on Friday, December 13, 2024 at the NHS-Niagara Fall Site at the age of 84. She has been reunited with her beloved husband Tony and grandson Bradley. She was a loving mother to Kim Kucharski (Randy), Ken Watchhorn (Kelly), Carl Watchorn and Brenda Orcutt, dear grandma to Jason, Amanda, Jennifer, Ashley, Kenny, Bailey, Raymond, Nicole and Carl, dear sister to Shirley Deck, Ted Gent (Paula), Karen Betts (Carl) and Kathy Gent. Donna will also be terribly missed by her great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A gifted knitter, Donna was a regular participant in knitting competitions, where her talent often earned her first-place awards. She poured her heart into every project, creating beautiful clothing, especially for children, and gifting them to those in need. Her love for knitting was only surpassed by her passion for cooking, as she found great joy in preparing delicious meals for family, friends and those in need. A selfless soul, she was always there for others, offering a helping hand and a listening ear.

In her garden, Donna found peace, tending to her flowers with great care and nurturing them to bloom beautifully. She loved spending time outdoors, but above all, she cherished the moments shared with her family and her new best friend, Pedro.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services in Niagara Falls. If desired, donations to the Greater Niagara Humane Society in Donna's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
