It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Donald, on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at the NHS- St. Catharines Site, in his 84th year. A proud and loving father of Andrew (Sherylann) Halliday, Bruce (Joyce) Halliday, and Beverly Halliday(Joanie). He was a grandfather and great-grandfather to several grandchildren. Uncle to several nephews and nieces. Don was predeceased by his wife Sharon and son Brian. Don was dearly loved by his fiancé Marlene and his family, and by his siblings, Harry Halliday, Doug Halliday and Barb (Paul) Noonan.

A longtime resident of St. Catharines, Don was proudly dedicated to his policing career and served as a Military Police Officer for the US Marine Corps., Police Officer with the Strathroy Police Department, and Auxiliary with the OPP - St. Catharines Detachment. He enjoyed having a good time and cherished all moments spent with his family and friends. Don always had a story to tell, that ended up in a laugh or a smile.

In accordance with Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements have been entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). A visitation will be held on Wedneday, July 27, 2022, from 7pm-9pm at Essentials, 4300 Drummond Road, Niagara Falls.
