Obituary of Dolores Marie Sampson
It is with the heaviest hearts, that we, the family of Dolores Marie Sampson announce her peaceful passing on September 7th, 2024. Dolores was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia to her loving parents Ken and Mora Hawley (both predeceased). She was the middle child of 8: Mary Elaine (Danny), Carolyn, Skippy, Cheryl (Richard), Murdock & Christopher (Jane). She is survived by her loving husband Clifford, her only child Miriah & the apple of her eye, her only grandchild Jacob.Dolores had a wonderful zest for life, and a real love for all animals, especially her dogs Cuddles & Dudley. She met many dogs on her daily walks near the water in Fort Erie, looking across to Buffalo, her favourite place to shop! And boy did she love to shop!! Always buying beautiful, feminine clothes. She was always dressed to impress, never leaving the house without a beautiful outfit on and nice jewellery. She was always a lady.
Dolores leaves behind her husband of 49 years. Clifford always took excellent care of her, especially in her final months. He is the most attentive, loving husband. She also had a great love of flowers and plants. She has a green thumb, just like her mother Mora Rose. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

My deepest sympathy to you Delores’s Family. I knew Delores when we attended school together here in Sydney. I knew her Mom and Dad and her sister Cheryl and her husband Richard. Delores was so full of life and had an amazing smile and infectious laugh. I will pray for Peace on her life in Eternity. May God continue to Bless you all with Courage, Strength and Peace in this your time of sorrow and loss.
