Obituary of Diana Theresa Barron
Diana Barron (née Bolyki) passed away July 24 from complications from a chronic illness. Sister to Elaine, Wendy, Sandy and Louis. Predeceased by parents Theresa and Louis. She was a rebel from birth and lived life on her own terms. Her multiple talents earned her a diploma from Sheridan College and she was a published author and illustrator. She won accolades with a foray into fashion design. She was the lead singer in a rock band in the 70's and won a provincial songwriting contest in BC.
Diana spent 20 years at home on a motorcycle in a bike club with partner Sam, and made homes in St Catharines, northern BC, Vancouver and most recently, Port Perry. She truly defined the phrase "she did it her way".

So sad to hear of Diana’s passing. Jaine and I stayed with her and Sam at Port Perry back in 2002. They were the most hospitable, and marvellous hosts you could ask for. We really enjoyed our stay and introduction to Canada. Condolences to her family and friends.
On behalf of the staff and residents of The Salvation Army Eventide Home, we would like to extend our sympathies to Diana’s family and friends.
Diana will be missed by her friends here at Eventide.
It was our honour and privilege to care for and journey with Diana. Our thought and prayers are with you all.
Condolences to the family. Always thorny issues but well worth it.
Meet on the other side
Did I say that I love you? If I didn’t I’m a fool you see. No one knows this more than me.
Sandy, Wendy, Elaine and Louis, my heartfelt sympathies go out to you. Di was our “live life on the edge her way” cousin. We always enjoyed our time together, we had many laughs and I hope she has her favourite bike with her now. We will have many fond memories.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you Sandy and Wendy. You were true sisters to Di.
