Obituary of Dennis Hodges

In the comforting care of Meadows of Dorchester, Dennis peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the age of 71. He will be forever remembered by his sister, Ivy Barrett, and brother, Rick Hodges, as well as by his nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, John “Jack” and Mary; his sister, Valerie; his brother, Johnny; his nephew, Daniel; and his brother-in-law, John.

In his younger years, Dennis was a happy-go-lucky guy who grew up in Beamsville, surrounded by many friends and relatives. He worked at Metalcraft Solutions, where he helped manufacture medical equipment, and retired around the age of 65. Throughout his life, Dennis worked hard, enjoyed socializing, and loved sharing good times and laughter with his friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dennis’ care team at Meadows of Dorchester for their kindness, support, and the excellent care they provided.

In accordance with Dennis’ wishes, cremation has taken place, and his cremated remains will be interred at a later date with his parents in Beamsville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
