Obituary of Delbert William Ostertag Jr.
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Delbert Ostertag Jr. on February 2, 2022 in his 84th year. Loving husband of 63 years to Georgina. He will be dearly missed by his children Debra Hamilton (Tom), Heather Collee (Marty), Del Ostertag III and Christina Ostertag, his grandchildren Jason Collee (Karilyn), Aaron Collee (Ashley) and Megan Hamilton, and his great granddaughters Mackenzie, Emma and Taylor. Also remembered by his loving sister Shirley Williams.Del was proud of his service in the Navy and his many years as an electrician. He was an avid reader, enjoyed lawn bowling, crosswords and watching all sports.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). As per Del’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family interment and a celebration of Del’s life will be held at a later date. Heartfelt thank you to all of the medical professionals involved with Del’s care.
