Obituary of Deirdre "Dee" Ann Thompson

McNAB THOMPSON, Deirdre "Dee" - Died in the hospital after a long struggle on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at age 50. Beloved partner, sister, mother, daughter, and friend; Dee will be missed by all who knew her loving heart, ready smile, and wicked sense of humour. Our lives are changed forever with the loss of her sweet-yet-feisty attitude and uncanny ability at cards and backgammon. Much gratitude for the excellent care she received from the ICU and Brock Ward staff at Niagara Falls General Hospital. Dee was predeceased by her twin sister, Heather McNab, and will be interred with her twin at Fairview Cemetery in a private ceremony. Arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services, (905-354-2133). Dee's family will host a memorial in the Oak Room at the Best Western Cairn Croft, 6400 Lundy’s Lane, Niagara Falls on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 7pm - 9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada in memory of Dee are appreciated. Online condolences and donations may be made on Dee's tribute page found at essentialscbs.com.
