Obituary of David W. Hayward

We are saddened to announce the passing of David Hayward. David passed away peacefully at Millennium Trail Manor on Monday February 6, 2023 at the age of 77. He has now been reunited with his loving wife Lynne (2006). He leaves behind his cherished fur baby Winkie. He will be lovingly remembered by his Sisters, Barbara Halbert (Ken) and Deborah Provost (Bob), nieces Kelly Skowronek (Peter), Michelle Reid, Amy Ethier (Dan) and nephew Ken (Laura). He will also be missed by many great nieces, great nephews, extended family members and friends. David was born and raised in Niagara Falls by his parents Walter (2000) and Beatrice (1993). Growing up into his older years, when he was not driving transport for CN Rail, Dominion Consolidated and Bob Gale, he found his passion in fishing, boating, going up to the family cottage in Parry Sound and all around being outside. Many thanks to the staff at Millennium Trail Manor for their wonderful care. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Essentials Cremation and Burial Services, 4300 Drummond Rd., Niagara Falls, on Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 2-4p.m. In lieu of flowers we ask you to consider a donation to the Niagara Falls Humane Society. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
