Obituary of David Ross Henderson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ross Henderson at Greater Niagara General Hospital in his 91st year. Ross is survived by his loving daughter Missy (Jamie), his beloved wife Jeannie and his granddaughters Paige and Gracie. He was predeceased by his wife Bette of 53 years.

Ross was born and raised in Glasgow Scotland. He served over 10 years in the British Army as a police officer. Ross then moved to Canada where he became a golf professional for over 70 years. He started at Willo-Dell for 25 years then at Rockway Glen for 10 more years. Ross was a lifelong member of C.P.G.A. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

As per his wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). A celebration of life will be held at Rockway Vineyards Golf Course on June 15 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Memorial donations may be made to Niagara District Junior Golf Tour.
