Obituary of David "Dave" Roy Love
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of David Love at his home on September 4, 2021. Devoted husband and soulmate to Cathie of 47 years. Loving father of Jeremy (Katherine), and Jennifer Love (Frank Catillo). He will be forever in the hearts of his grandchildren; Tyler, Brianna, Carter and Sydney. He will be sadly missed by his brother Robert (Chantel), as well as his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and June and his brother Peter.Dave was a die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He enjoyed spending time watching his Leafs play with Cassie and everyone at the OTP (Overtime Pub) in Thorold. At Dave’s request, cremation has taken place. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his nurse Georgina and her team. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Walker Cancer Centre or the Canadian Cancer Society (Niagara Branch) would be appreciated by the family.
