It is with a sigh of relief but also an ache in our hearts we announce that on Friday October 20, 2023 Daniel Anthony Williams passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by those he held dear. He has been reunited with his parents Ron and Harriette. Dan was a devoted partner to Deborah Tilton, loving father to D.J. (Jaden Southern) and a cherished brother of Ed (Josie), Betty and Ron. Also survived by his daughters Sherrie, Alisha and Windy. He will be profoundly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a wide circle of friends including his work family at Lake Foundry. He was a man of remarkable qualities, known for his great sense of humor, selflessness and unwavering dedication to his family. Dan made numerous sacrifices to ensure the well-being of his loved ones, as they were the center of his world. He was a hardworking individual who demonstrated incredible loyalty and commitment throughout his life. In his leisure time, he found joy in playing video games, with Grandtourismo being a particular favorite. His love for music, especially the Beach Boys, was evident, and "Surfin' USA" held a special place in his heart.
Despite the challenges life threw his way, Dan remained strong-willed and had a heart that knew no bounds. His determination was evident as he continued to work at Lake Foundry for nearly a decade, even after receiving a stage 4 cancer diagnosis and undergoing grueling chemotherapy treatments.
In accordance with Dan's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services in Welland. For those who wish to honor his memory, donations may be made to The Walker Family Cancer Centre.
Daniel's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his enduring love and unwavering dedication to his family will forever be cherished.
