Dale Elaine Schaaf-NewtonApril 21, 1941 ~ November 24, 2024
It is with broken hearts that the family announces the passing of Dale Elaine Schaaf-Newton on November 24, 2024, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital. Born on April 21, 1941, in Toronto, Dale lived a life marked by resilience, love, and kindness. Dale is survived by her devoted husband, Ron, her children Derek Schaaf (Tamara) and Deborah Schaaf, her stepchildren Valerie Wright (Gary) and Susan Eadie (Gordon). She was also the proud grandmother of Hannah and Holly Schaaf.
A beautiful and petite woman, she was Ron's “Minnie Mouse,” Dale never weighed more than 100 lbs but packed an enormous amount of strength and courage into her small frame. She fought for what was right until the very end and was loved by all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and determination will be remembered fondly by her family and friends. In keeping with Dale's wishes, cremation has taken place, and arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. A celebration of Dale's Life will be held at Chip n Charlie's Eatery & Bar, 8189 Lundy's Lane, Niagara Falls, on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice in Dale's memory. Though she may no longer walk among us, Dale's angelic presence will live on in our hearts, forever shining brightly as the light she was in our lives.

What a beautiful soul Dale was, inside and out. Always knew she was an angel, now she’s really an angel. Watching over Ron and those she loved. ❤️
Dear Ronnie and family…we are so saddened by the sudden loss of Dale. Such a wonderful lady, the apple of Ronnie’s eye. So happy we got to spend time together and have dinner last year when you came through Fort Wayne. We were blessed to have Dale and Pam finally meet…they were like two peas in a pod. I only wish we could be there for you to lean on during this time…prayers lifted up to help heal your hearts during this time of grieving.
