Obituary of Curtis Donald Ross

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Curtis Donald Ross on August 23, 2021. Curtis will be greatly missed by his loving children Sherri (Jimmy McLaughlin), and Tracy (Ken Hunter). He will be remembered by his grandchildren Shane Ross (Fanny), and Candice (Mark Buchan). His memory will be cherished by his great grandchildren Marissa Buchan, Alanice Buchan, and Jordan Ross. Curtis will also be thought of often by his nieces and nephews. Curtis was predeceased by his parents Bernice Walker and Ernest Ross, his sisters Dora Ross, and Gloria Smith, and his grandson Ryder Ross.

Curtis was born December 30, 1944 and was raised in Sherbrooke, Quebec by his parents Bernice and Ernest Ross. He later moved to Niagara Falls to make a family of his own. Curt worked many years in the trucking industry, and had many stories to show of it. He was a very outgoing person. Curtis cherished his time with his family and friends. One of Curtis’ most favourite pastimes was having a beer at the local bar. He had a caring heart and will be missed by all who knew him.

As per Curtis’ wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Niagara Humane Society.
