Obituary of Cynthia "Cindy" "Cinch" Antoine

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cindy Antoine, who departed this world on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Hospice Niagara, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 74. Cindy is predeceased by her beloved husband, Bryan (2010). She was a devoted mother to Norman (Nicole Young), George (Emily), and Jason (Arlene), and a cherished Grammy to Connor (Nicole), Shonagh, Bryan, and Riley. Her legacy continues as GG to Lincoln, Lucy, and Luna. In addition to her immediate family, Cindy leaves behind a wide circle of In-Laws, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will all deeply feel the loss of her warm presence. Her brother Colston "Coe," predeceased her in 2018. Cindy had a zest for life and found joy in simple pleasures. She shared laughter during card nights with her close-knit group of friends, reveled in the excitement of Bingo, and tried her luck at the casino. Her enthusiasm for staying active led her to participate in Aquafit sessions at the YMCA, where she fostered friendships and maintained a healthy lifestyle. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to her niece, Kierra (Nick) Tor, and the compassionate staff at Hospice for their unwavering support during Cindy's final days. In accordance with Cindy's wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hospice Niagara, an organization close to Cindy's heart.

I am very sad to see that Cindy has passed away.. I worked with Cindy at Food basics a long time ago.. she was a delight to work with.. After I left Food basics she was the only one who remembered my name and was always kind.. You will be missed. Rest easy my friend.

My friend since Grade 2, I will miss our chats over the last 65 years. Cinch was an incredible, strong, decisive, loyal, generous and caring friend. My deepest condolences to her family and friends for this enormous loss. I hope to make it on October 7 to see her family again after so many years but unfortunately it on the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Rest peacefully Cinch.
