Obituary of Christopher "Chris" Allen Boychuk

A loving husband and devoted father, passed away suddenly at the young age of 53. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. Chris will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Born to Bernard Boychuk and Linda (Gord) Wilcox, Chris grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. He was a beloved brother to Mark, Luke, Blaine (Danielle), Brandy (Jason), Debbie, Annette (Mark), Marjorie, Sue (Ed), Brian (Trish), and Sheila (Jason). Chris is the beloved husband of Kim, his lifelong partner and best friend. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures. As a dedicated father, Chris found immense joy in raising his four daughters, Kate (Austin), Melissa (Rafael), Christie (Nick), and Paisley (Nick). He took pride in watching them grow and supporting them in every step of their journeys. In addition to his immediate family, Chris cherished his fur babies, Chunk and Gertrude, who brought him comfort and companionship. His love for animals was evident in his support for organizations like the Niagara SPCA, to which memorial donations may be made in his honor. Chris had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time in nature. Chris will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and his dear friend Jesse Reid. My condolences to family,. You and the world has lost a good man with a BIG heart who thought about others before himself. Way too early!
I met Chris when I was 17 and along with Brian and Big Don, we had great adventures and made many life memories.
Although our lives crossed paths several times, we remained friends as only a friend feels. Never did I ever have a disagreement with Chris, he was so easy to get along with.

Chris… i’m sure you’re in a better place now because you deserve everything that is good. Forever. Until our paths cross again, my friend…
