Obituary of Chris “Gibby” Gibson
Sadly and unexpectedly, Chris’ life on this earth came to an end this weekend while he slept. At only 47 years old, this came as a tremendous shock to family and friends. Chris has left behind his mother, Lorraine Gibson and his older siblings Mary-Joe Gibson-Marcon (Tony) and Terry Gibson (Cindy), predeceased by his father Arnold Gibson and his brother Andrew Gibson. He will be remembered by his nieces and nephews, Victoria (Fabio), Lucas, Angelica, Jonathan (Danielle), Sarah (Thomas), and his great-niece, Kennedy, as well other family members and friends, and his co-workers at the Niagara Parks Commission. A Funeral Service celebrating Chris’ life will take place at Queensway Free Methodist Church, 4397 Dorchester Road, Niagara Falls, ON at 1:00pm on Saturday, Nov. 2nd, 2019, followed by an Interment at Fairview Cemetery (4501 Stanley Ave., Niagara Falls). Guests are invited to join the family ahead of the service from 12:00 - 1:00pm for a time of visitation and following the Interment for refreshments at Queensway.
