Obituary of Cheryl Lynn Vanhorn
Cheryl Lynn Vanhorn passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 73. Loving mother to Jason. Beloved sister and aunt to; Dawn (the late Alvin) and their daughters Rachel and Gretchen, Lee and his daughters Kerry and Melissa, Heather (Gerald) and their children Steven and Beth. She will be missed by her dear friend Georgina.Cheryl dedicated 33 years of her life to be a kind and loving nurse at the Greater Niagara General Hospital. After retiring, Cheryl’s passions included gardening and reading.
Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905 354-2133) has been entrusted with arrangements. A service to honour Cheryl’s life will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Heartland Forest (8215 Heartland Forest Rd, Niagara Falls) beginning at 10am. Following the service, burial will take place at Pleasantview Cemetery (Highway 20, Fonthill, ON). Donations may be made to Hamilton Health Sciences for Heart Research.
