Obituary of Cheryl Lee Bowering

Cheryl Bowering passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at the age of 57. Cheryl was a loving and nurturing mother who always did her best. She will be dearly missed by her children, Sébastien Salain and Cloe Salain. Cheryl was an adoring Kokum to her grandson Jasper, who brought her immense joy, and she cherished the time spent with him. She will be forever remembered by the true love of her life, Dave McArthur, whom she had known since she was 15 years old. Cheryl was also a dear sister to Gwen Bowering, Aaron Bowering, Adam Bowering, and Sarah Bowering. She had fond memories of her other siblings. Cheryl was predeceased by her parents, Ray and Rose, and the awesome father who raised her, Arthur Bowering.

Cheryl is remembered for her love of cooking for her family and friends. She often felt sad with her empty nest, so she welcomed visitors with open arms, always eager to host and care for them. This nurturing nature also made her an excellent personal support worker. In her leisure time, Cheryl enjoyed reading and finding solace and joy in the pages of her favorite books.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to Essentials. Family and friends are invited to join Cheryl's family at Essentials Cremation and Burial Services, located at 4300 Drummond Road, Niagara Falls, on Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 1-3pm, for a time of gathering and remembrance.
