Obituary of Charles Wendell Fraser Overholt
Passed away peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2022 at the Welland County General Hospital at the age of 72. Left behind to mourn is his daughter Melissa, granddaughter Seria, his best friend Tim Eden, many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family members.Charlie worked in the Healthcare Industry for many years before retiring at Douglas Memorial Hospital.
In accordance with Charlie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. Online condolences may be shared on Charlie’s tribute page found at EssentialsNiagara.com.

We were so sorry to hear of Charlie’s passing. We have many great memories of times spent at the bbqs and many years rototilling the garden. As Kate mentioned his help with our father during a trying time was much appreciated. Our love and prayers to Melissa and family
I was so sorry to hear of Charlie’s death. I have many fond memories of working with him. He became like a brother to me. Charlie was very special to our family and gave himself tirelessly to taking care of my dad when he was dying . My heart goes out to Melissa and Seria. My prayers are with you.
Charlie will leave a big hole in the lives of those that are close to him. He was a caring, generous man and it was a pleasure to have known him. My heart goes out to Melissa, Seria and Tim.
So sorry for your loss- worked with him for many years- a great guy- hugs to the whole family and Tim too- he brought many a coffee in to us on the midnight shift from Bev Smith
