Obituary of Chadwick Lorne Sanderson

It is with great sadness that the family of Chadwick Lorne Sanderson announces his sudden passing on January 22, 2026.

Chad is survived by his longtime partner, Janet Kerr, and will be deeply missed by Janet's children Kala, Kyle, Madison, and Taylor, his children, Nicole and Jake, his mother, Mary Saulnier, his sister Tammy, and his nephews, Dalton and Nick. Chad was excited to hear about the upcoming Baby Sanderson, who will one day get to hear many wonderful stories about their grandpa. He is lovingly reunited with his father, Thomas, nephew Tanner Sanderson, and will be greatly missed by his many friends and his Newfoundland family.

Chad took great pride in his work at Eclipse Tools, where he worked for five years and considered his colleagues family—even if they called him “Frank.” A very private person, Chad was full of creativity. He loved music, played both guitar and drums, and had a talent for drawing. To many, he was known as a true “rock star.”

In keeping with Chad’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held with family and friends.
