Obituary of Carolyn Anne Browning

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Carolyn Anne Browning (née Baker) on April 11, 2022 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Carolyn was 75 years old. Left to mourn Carolyn is her son Chris (Kathleen), her grandchildren Sarah and Kristen, who affectionately called her Gramma and Holden, who called her Monna; her sisters Janet (Bruce), Pat (Dave) and Bev; her daughter-in-law Denise as well as her sister-in-law Sharon and brother-in-law Jerry and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Carolyn was welcomed home with open arms by her parents Hubert and Audrey, her husband Tony Sr.(2006), her sons Tony Jr.(1987) and Randy (2022), her brothers Wayne (2021) and Denis (1981), her sister Hilda (2021), sister-in-law Marsha (2005) and brother-in-law Carl (2018). Carolyn met and fell in love with Tony at the very young age of 16. From that moment on she devoted her life to her family. She was Coordinator at Ventura Park Co-op for 25 years until her retirement in 2006. She enjoyed bowling at Parkway Lanes in a ladies league and she belonged to The Canadian Calorie Counters, mostly for the social aspect. Carolyn's kindness, ability to cook and bake from scratch and her love of the Christmas season will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905 354 2133). The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Scher, her nurses and P.S.Ws for all of their care and compassion during her final days.
