It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce after a short battle with cancer. Best friend and loving husband of Dianne for 46 years. Cherished brother of Ann, Paul (Helen) and very proud uncle of Sean Mooney. Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Don and Jean, as well as his brother Jerry, and stepson, Christopher Collins. Bruce was a kind and patient man who was happiest outdoors, where he spent many hours fishing in his boat. He travelled from the lakes in the North, down to Florida where he spent 20 winters.
Bruce took pride in his work as a monument builder and as a thoroughbred horse owner. He spent many enjoyable moments at the track and the stables. He often recounted the memories of good times over the years shared with many friends, whom he cherished. A special thank you to Nurse Pretty—you are an angel. Thank you to our neighbours for their support and friendship during this difficult time.
Bruce has been cremated and a casual celebration of his life will be held for family and friends at Betty's Restaurant, 8921 Sodom Road, Niagara Falls, on Sunday, September 8th, 2024, from 1pm to 4pm. Expressions of sympathy can be made as donations to Heartland Forest or a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be shared on Bruce's tribute page found at EssentialsNiagara.com.

Diane I just heard today of Bruce passing and we are in shock to hear such bad news. We always cherished your friendship and cant sing out my Bruce and Diane song lyrics as I pass by in my boat. Maybe I can find some other appropriate lyrics and bring joy to your heart.Steve and heather
