Obituary of Dorla Beatrice Lee-Brisson

Peacefully, Dorla passed away in her sleep with family by her side on July 19, 2021 at Oakwood Park Lodge in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Dorla will be missed by her loving children Linda Brideau (Henry), Judi Fraser, Mark Brisson and Darryl Brisson (Kelly-Lee). Dorla will be remembered by her 12 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dorla is survived by her brother Dickson Provost of Pembroke. Dorla has been predeceased by her husband Larry Lee, parents Margaret (nee Quait) and Alfred Provost, her sister Barbara Woods of British Columbia, daughter Sheila Kauffman (Fred), son Byron Brisson (Laurie) and son Wayne Brisson.

Dorla was born in Pembroke, Ontario and was known to her friends as Dolly. She worked as a Nurse’s Aid at the GNGH and later at Kmart for many years. Dolly enjoyed helping and volunteering.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at Oakwood Park Lodge for their care and support. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). As per her wishes cremation has taken place and visitation will be held in her memory at Essentials, 4300 Drummond Road, Niagara Falls from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, August 6th. Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP by calling Essentials or by emailing [email protected]. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
