Obituary of Brett Allan Gibson

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the West Haldimand General Hospital at the age of 63. Brett will be lovingly remembered by his son Steven Gibson. He was the cherished son to Patricia and Roger Gibson. Also survived by his former spouse, Cindy Minor-Gibson (Pete).

Brett was born in Dunnville on June 18, 1958. He worked in both the Shipping and Construction industries, and later would become head baker at the Quality Bakery on West Street in Port Colborne. Brett will be remembered by his family as a hard worker and quite the handyman! He had a passion for woodworking, and would always try fixing something himself first before calling anyone else. Brett also loved to fish, and over the years spent a lot of time at the family cottage in Restoule, Ontario.

In keeping with Brett's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-734-1031). If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
