It is with my deepest condolences to hear of the passing of my teenage girlfriend Little Bren. I was quite shocked to hear her bright light has left us so soon & she was a force to be reckoned with. We nicknamed each other in highschool, Little Bren & Big Bren due to our heights of 4’11” -5 feetish & 5’11” -6 feetish. She always outranked me being the older one by only months but she never let me forget it. So many good times as teenage girls, & graduating together in 77 & going to our grad formal at the Sheraton. We hung out together with our boyfriends & girls nights & so many events after highschool till I moved west to Calgary in 1980 . little Bren had a girls night reunion in 88 when I came to visit with my baby Amanda-Jean & Little Bren planned it all at the Angel Inn while her mom babysat the twins at 6 years old & my 9 month old baby girl, we had so much to discuss at that girls night reunion. Brenda had a great smile & great laugh & I just have so many loving fun fond memories. A true Niagara beautful girl that added so much to my life growing up & friendship that I will treasure. I am proud of the mother, wife & grandma she became & her zest for life. Till we meet again soul sister. With all my love, Big Bren (Smith) Werbisky from Queenston but in Calgary now. XOXO
My thoughts a preys for the whole family I enjoyed working with Brenda and Niagara Long Term care for the past 20 years
I was shocked when I heard of Brenda’s passing.
Life is so precious and we have to make the best of every day.
I think that was Brenda’s story … She made every day count.
She brought laughter to all of us and has left us all with great memories.
From carefree high school days on the Parkway … summer concerts and a wild and crazy trip to Fort Lauderdale … Brenda has left her mark on all of us who knew her.
My deepest condolences to Bob, her girls and their families.
My thoughts and prayers to her siblings David and Verónica.
And to her mother Viva.
May your precious memories surround and comfort you.
Brenda was tiny but mighty … bursting with love, life and many laughs.
